John Deere Mini Jig
This fly has caught more species for me than any other fly that I tie. It has landed rainbow trout, brown trout, redear sunfish, green sunfish, hybrid bluegill, bluegill, bass, channel catfish, and common carp. I typically fish it about eighteen inches under a strike indicator in shallow water or deeper depending on where fish seem to be holding.
