It's that time of year again when you might have an old fishing buddy a little closer to you than usual. Rainbow trout have been stocked in lakes around the state and one of those lakes might just be close to you! The Missouri Department of Conservation stocks rainbow trout in some select lakes when water temperatures drop and environments are right for supporting the fish through the winter months.
