If you live in central Missouri and either want to get introduced to fly fishing or know someone that wants to, the Missouri Department of Conservation is here to help. MDC is hosing a fly fishing workshop for beginners at Cosmo-Bethel Park on Nov. 8 from 10 until noon. Equipment is provided but attendees that are sixteen and older will need a fishing license. Space is limited so if you are interested, please click on the link below to register for the class.
This is a great example of one of the many services that the Missouri Department of Conservation provides for the state of Missouri. Even if you cannot or don't want to attend the workshop, I hope that we can at least appreciate that our state provides educational opportunities that connect us to the great outdoors. Other states do not have this luxury and I am grateful that we have privileges such as this.
