Hogan's Red Headed Step Child Fly Tying Instructions

I think it's easy to say without stirring up too much controversy that nymphing is probably the least exciting way to fly fish and probably not everyone's favorite technique.  It doesn't have the beauty or heart-pounding excitement of a trout taking down a dry and the takes aren't as aggressive as wet flies or streamers.  With that being said, it is probably the most effective way to fly fish for trout.  If this is the case, don't we all need a good fly box full of nymphs that we can go to when times get tough?  It is with this very thought in mind that I post today's fly- The Red Headed Step Child.  It's fun, unique, and probably pretty effective!
