A Bald Eagle Shot in Missouri and other MDC News Releases

The Missouri Department of Conservation published a number of news releases recently.  They are all listed below and involve the improvement of fish habitats in ponds as well as information on delayed trout stockings in the Kansas City Area.  However, the one that I hope catches your attention the most involves the shooting that lead to the death of a bald eagle in Washington County.  This is a heinous and cowardice act that deserves justice on the part of the animal that just happens to be out national symbol.  An investigation is underway and if you or someone you know can assist in any way, please call the Operation Game Thief hotline at 1-800-392-1111. The article also states, "Callers can choose to remain anonymous or be eligible for a cash reward if the tip leads to an arrest."
