There is a new fly for sale in the Etsy store and I call it the complex bugger. It is a beefed up version of a wooly bugger and has some great profile. It has good action and should work well for largemouth, smallmouth, trout, and hybrid stripers. The tail is oversized because it has such good flow and motion. The body is composed of three materials: pearl olive chenille, UV polar chenille, and olive schlappen. Those materials are blended together in a cord or "complex twist". This method allows each material to show off its unique characteristics in a messy yet subdued way. In other words, I really like it! The black collar helps tie it all together and gives some consistency to the head and tail.
