Missouri River Changing Color

I apologize for being a little late on delivering this information but I still had to share it because it is so darn fascinating.  The United States Geological Survey (USGS) is studying where recently hatched endangered pallid sturgeon drift in the Missouri River.  This would have been an interesting sight to see for sure.  It is also a pretty ambitious undertaking by the USGS.  It is also encouraging to see a local, endangered species getting some help that it needs.  It is also refreshing because sturgeon aren't exactly the cute and cuddly species that people seem to fawn over.  The first link is to a St. Louis media outlet and the second is to a USGS website.
