I was able to do a fishing at Watkins Mill on Saturday night and things seem to be picking up after a late summer lull. While I didn't catch anything big, it was a mixed bag which was fun. I caught everything on an olive wooly bugger and a black 1/80 ounce jig that was about 18 inches under an indicator. The water seems to be cooling off a little and fish seem more active than they were in mid August. That trend is likely continue in the coming weeks and that's pretty darn exciting.
