Catfish on the Fly YouTube Video
Catching catfish on a fly is usually a feat accomplished on accident...but not today. My buddies and I did this for about a week and the most prolific day was caught on camera. We used 6 foot leaders with John Deere jigs under indicators. Shameless plug: I sell these on my Etsy store. See link below. This footage was shot at a northwest Missouri farm pond in early fall so I can only assume that the cats were feeding up for the winter.
