I saw an article the other day that compared the hunting licenses of states and it got me wondering how the fishing license fees from different states compare. What I learned was that I have yet another reason to be glad that I live in Missouri! It would appear that the state of California either doesn't want its residents to fish or values it's fisheries as the best in the U.S. Or maybe their Department of Conservation isn't funded as well as ours is.
