Getting into the sport of fly fishing can be intimidating. There are so many techniques, numbers, and pieces of equipment. If you are new to our sport and would like some help making sense of all of the gear, then you might benefit from attending a virtual event that is being put on by the Missouri Department of Conservation. The event will be held on Thursday, May 12, from 5:30PM-6:30PM and will feature an MDC Naturalist which will help guide you through some of the minutia. I hope this helps you out if you are a newbie and helps simplify some of the complex jargon and strategies.
