Wow! What a difference a set of eyes make on a fly. Eyes really seem to bring a fly to life. While I'm not sure if this will catch more fish and/or more fisher attention, eyes just make a fly look better. The flies are used are fairly inexpensive and simple but you can spend a lot of money on eyes that are extremely detailed. When applying eyes, I highly suggest using super glue or some sort of strong adhesive to affix the eyes to your fly. The adhesive that is applied by the manufacturer simply isn't strong enough to stand up to the abuse of casting and fighting fish. It would be a shame to spend the time and money on eyes just to lose them in the first 10 minutes of the fly being on the water!
